Television in the UK is going digital, bringing us all more choice and new services. Starting in 2008, the UK will switch to digital TV, transmitter by transmitter and will be completed by 2012.

There are currently approximately 50 Digital TV & Radio channels available, with the digital signal offering greater clarity of sound and picture than analogue signal; it seems a waste to wait until 2012 to benefit from this technology!

You can check to see if you can receive the digital signal yet by using one of the digital TV postcodes checking systems, which is based upon general area signal strengths.
